Colorado native returns to join Toll Brothers' Project Manager Training Program

When Colorado native Shelby Boardman and his wife wanted to leave Chicago and move back to Colorado, Toll Brothers was one of the top companies in his job search. Boardman had studied business management at the University of Denver and then spent the last 10 years in residential and commercial real estate construction in Chicago.

Boardman started with Toll Brothers in June 2014 as an assistant project manager for one of its Parker communities and immediately began his classroom, online and hands-on training. The 12- to 16-month project manager training program is divided into five major categories covering construction, sales and marketing, finance and reporting, land, and management, motivational and leadership skills.

“I’ve already learned so much in the first few months,” says Boardman. “It’s great to work and learn from our team of experienced professionals regarding everything about building and marketing a new home from the ground up.
