Mesa, Arizona October 1, 2014 –Since 2005, Fix the Hurt has worked to increase awareness of domestic and dating violence through our interactive theater performances. From military installations and correctional facilities to high schools and community nonprofits, our powerful performances bring to light  some of the toughest social issues.

With a team of talented writers, composers and performers, Fix the Hurt launched “Domestic Violence the Musical?” (http://helpfixthehurt.org/performances/domestic-violence-the-musical/), which has been met with standing ovations. After several successful national and international performances, Fix the Hurt has added a book play, “Control.Assault.Delete” (http://helpfixthehurt.org/performances/control-assault-delete/) and “I Have this Friend” (http://helpfixthehurt.org/performances/i-have-this-friend/), a musical, to the theater line up to rave reviews from military installations (http://helpfixthehurt.org/who-benefits/military-installat...), correctional facilities (http://helpfixthehurt.org/who-benefits/correctional-facil...), and schools and universities (http://helpfixthehurt.org/who-benefits/schools-universities/).

Fix the Hurt has decided to put “I Have This Friend” on film to expand our reach on getting this important message about Teen Dating Violence out to as many people as possible.
