The Storybook Ranch Annual Pumpkin Patch Fundraiser Opens October 1st

DALLAS - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- Storybook Ranch, the historic landmark facility located just off of Custer Rd. in McKinney, will once again be operating one of their biggest annual fundraisers in the form of a Pumpkin Patch activities area.  The pumpkin patch is held in the large front pasture and is open 7 days per week now through November 3.

The pumpkin patch is complete with hay maze, petting zoo, pony rides, multiple bounce houses, photo area, pumpkins for purchase, and wagon ride tours through the authentic 1800’s western town located at the back of the property.

River Ranch Educational Charities, the 501(c)3 charity that owns and operates Storybook Ranch, offers free services and donations year round for the underprivileged and those with special needs. The charity’s mission is to offer a place where all individuals feel honored, empowered and accepted through the healing experience of horses, animals, community and nature with a special emphasis on serving the underprivileged, at-risk and special needs communities. Over the past five years, the non-profit organization has donated services valued at over $600,000 to local and national non-profits, schools and numerous individuals. HOURS: Sunday through Friday 10a - Sundown & Saturday 9a – Sundown

ADMISSION & ACTIVITIES:

$15/Child includes: Hay Maze, Pony Rides, Petting Zoo, Bounce Houses, Wagon

Rides through the 1800’s Western Town and a Mini Pumpkin

$5/Adult includes: Wagon Ride through 1800’s Western Town and a Mini Pumpkin

**Discounts available for large groups and other non-profits. Call for details. Kids under 2 are free.

**In the case of a Private Event in the Western Town, discounts will be assessed if wagon ride is not available.

$8/child, Teachers are free with fieldtrip.
