Follow on Google News | Sovereign invests in new technology to help make sense of arrearsMobysoft has been helping leading housing association Sovereign to improve the collection of rental income, thanks to its new RentSense product.
By: Mobysoft Ltd It was keen to use technological innovation to help it to effectively manage its arrears across the business. Working with Mobysoft, it has implemented RentSense - a unique rent arrears decision engine which uses complex algorithms to analyse tenant records and pinpoint which cases need further attention. This gives Sovereign the insight to better support those tenants who need urgent assistance, and enables it to use existing resources more efficiently. Early indications for Sovereign’s income teams using the Civica UH and Arion QLx housing systems show the technology could result in significant time savings, with prompts for action reducing by around 50% in some cases, due to smarter identification of real payment patterns and anomalies. Ian Gilders, Sovereign’s Project Director, commented: “As one of the largest housing associations in the UK, we are working hard to tackle the impact of welfare reforms and to support our residents if they have problems paying their rent. RentSense gives us the tools to not only manage arrears effectively and support the residents we need to, but also to ensure our business is as efficient as possible.” Derek Steele, Mobysoft MD, added: "Sovereign is a fantastic client to have on board and we’re glad to be able to provide the support they need with our RentSense product. We look forward to working with them and helping them to deliver both improved efficiency levels and revenue collection." For more information call 0161 306 8545 or visit www.mobysoft.co.uk End
