CSC to Host Makeover for the Heatheridge Assisted Living Bucket List Challenge

TULSA, Okla. - Oct. 1, 2014 - PRLog -- The students from Clary Sage College (CSC) are partnering with Dillard’s to provide a complete makeover for Ms. Sarah, a 90-year-old resident of Heatheridge Assisted Living, as part of the Heatheridge Assisted Living Bucket List Challenge Wednesday, October 1^st.

“Community outreach is such a huge part of Clary,” explained Merritt Wakefield of CSC. “The students love working on events such as the Bucket List Challenge. It is not only a way to work on their skills; it is a chance for them to bring a smile to someone’s face. Making someone feel good about themselves is what the beauty industry is all about.”

To fulfill her lifelong dream of receiving a makeover, Ms. Sarah will be receiving a haircut and style, manicure, pedicure and makeup application from the students at CSC and a new outfit donated by Dillard’s.

"We are excited to host Sarah and Heatheridge Assisted Living for a spa and makeover day,” said Katie Tallent, Office Manager.
