Teen Nation Tour, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Mayor Clodfelter set to kick off National Bullying month

Teen Nation Tour has Arrived in Charlotte to Kick Off National Bullying Prevention Month with a Rally and Music Fueled Anti-Bullying Message
 
SAN ANTONIO - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- On Wednesday, the Teen Nation Tour will educate middle school students about bullying through a way they can relate – with music. Teen Nation Tour is a peer-to-peer community service program which features young, emerging recording artists who perform Top 40 country, pop and rock hits. At Piedmont IB Middle, a local 7th grader will perform the national anthem, followed by comments from principal Jackie Barone and Charlotte Mayor Dan Clodfelter. Mayor Clodfelter will speak about bullying prevention and sign the school’s pledge to keep Piedmont bully free. During the event, musical guests will share their personal bullying experiences and discuss bullying prevention options.

TNT has joined forces with the Charlotte Motor Speedway to bring a very important message to our youth during a time when it is needed the most.  The tour will  kick off their 2 week campaign for National Bullying Prevention Month with the Mayor of Charlotte during an anti-bullying rally and will additionally tour 18 schools and visit over 12,000 youth throughout the 2 weeks and will end with its inaugural Race to End Bullying music festival.

The music festival is a community concert event that was created together with the Charlotte Motor Speedway to help raise awareness of the growing bullying problem we are faced with. The festival will take place October 9th,10th and 11th at the Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Charlotte Motor Speedway knows how important it is to support bullying prevention and had been looking for opportunities to raise awareness for this cause and decided to team up with the Teen Nation Tour for an awareness concert.
