Many Rivers will also kick off their fourth annual Autumn Food Drive on October 26. They will be collecting non-perishable food items from October 26 through November 1 to support the Windsor Food Bank. Macaroni and cheese, tuna, peanut butter, pasta and pasta sauce, and all canned goods are especially appreciated. In addition, Many Rivers will donate 5% of their profits from the week to the Food Bank. “We collected 148 pounds of food last year for the Windsor Food Bank,” says Many Rivers owner and acupuncturist Carrie Sawtell, L.Ac. “We’ Many Rivers is part of the community acupuncture movement, which is working to make health care affordable and accessible. Acupuncture treatments are provided on a sliding scale of $15 - $35 per treatment (plus a one-time new patient fee of $10). Their highly-trained acupuncturists treat a multitude of health problems, including pain, arthritis, anxiety, insomnia, depression, digestive disorders, seasonal allergies and gynecological complaints.
