Laser galvanometer maker Nutfield Technology grows into new space, hires new COO

HUDSON, N.H. - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Hudson NH, September 25, 2014 — Nutfield Technology, (www.nutfieldtech.com), the leading provider of galvanometer scanners, scan heads, and laser scanning software and hardware has moved to a larger 20,000 sq. ft. facility.

“Nutfield is growing, this new facility as part of our growth strategy,” said Roger Roach, CEO of Nutfield Technology. “This new facility allows us to expand our capabilities and capacity while also continuing our commitment to innovative design, especially when it comes to galvanometer laser scanners and scanning software technology,” he said. Plans for the new facility include a new demonstration lab, model shop and laser lab.

Nutfield Technology has also hired a new COO. Mark Longmuir has more than 27 years experience in running facilities in progressive lean companies.  During that time, he garnered two Lean Master Black Belt certificates in Standard Work and SS.

“Mark is at the core of our lean management structure,”Roach said. “His efforts will ensure that Nutfield Technology is more than ready to meet out customers’ demands with a responsive and highly scalable operations team.“
