8z Real Estate Brokers Accept Leadership Roles With Douglas Elbert Realtor Association

CASTLE ROCK, Colo. - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Two 8z Real Estate brokers recently accepted positions with the Douglas Elbert Realtor Association (DERA), an organization that offers training and educational resources for real estate professionals in Colorado. 8z broker Julie Maxwell accepted a position on the board of directors and Sandy Anderson is taking on the role of president for the organization.

DERA empowers its members to become community and industry leaders through the promotion of ethical conduct, professionalism and community involvement. Both brokers are excited to get more involved with the organization and help real estate professionals find a voice within the industry at a local, state and national level.

Anderson started her DERA membership when she began her career in real estate in 2005. She served on various committees and quickly realized the value it offered members. Maxwell began her involvement while pursuing her educational credentials with the DERA program.

As president, Anderson will be the designated chairperson of the association, charged with responsibility for the general direction of its affairs. She will serve as the major spokesperson for the association, and lead it in worthwhile activities to improve the real estate climate. Maxwell will play an integral role in improving DERA’s education and community outreach programs, as well as overall development of its members.
