COPENHAGEN, Denmark - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- The Information Security Forum (https://www.securityforum.org/) (ISF), a global, independent information security body considered the world's leading authority on cyber security and information risk management, will be hosting its 25th Annual World Congress  in Copenhagen, Denmark, November 23-25, 2014. More than 1,000 security experts are expected to attend and discuss the key security challenges and opportunities that member companies and businesses are facing. Key topics of discussion include cyber security, data privacy in the cloud, supply chain security, big data, the Internet of Things (IoT) and mobile devices in the workplace.

“Celebrating 25 years as the world’s leading authority on cyber security, we are looking forward to hosting our 25th Annual World Congress in Copenhagen,” said Steve Durbin, Managing Director of the ISF. “The ISF World Congress is our annual, global flagship event which offers attendees the opportunity to discuss and find solutions to today’s most important security challenges and gain practical advice from peers and leading industry experts from around the world. Attendees will hear from world-renowned experts, learn from key industry players and gain insight into the latest ISF projects.”

This year’s ISF World Congress features a series of keynote presentations, workshops and networking sessions that offer attendees the opportunity to share knowledge, best practices and thought leadership in a confidential peer-group environment. As in previous years, the event will have an extensive breakout program, but while there will be fewer sessions, each will be collaborative and led by different ISF member organizations. This will provide attendees with a wider view of the experiences of others on topics of real interest through attending only a single session.

“Our annual World Congress offers attendees the opportunity to attend sessions from internationally renowned speakers as well as interact and build peer-to-peer relationships with senior global decision-makers and share in the overall experience the ISF provides,” continued Durbin. “Organizations recognize the significant benefits the ISF brings to its Member companies and this event has become the place where the major players in the industry convene to share ideas in a relaxed and intimate location.”

In previous years the ISF events have been exclusive to members but now, for the fifth consecutive year, the organization is opening its doors to a select number of non-Member organizations.
