Sept. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Atlanta, Georgia: The Caribbean Media Network (CMN) is working delinquently on the development of new and innovative methods of reaching the multicultural community. In an effort to gain a general census about the diaspora in the United States, CMN has partnered with the 30th Annual Miami Broward Carnival Organization.  The annual festival serves as host to over fifty thousand (50K) guests from around the nation, including Canada and the Caribbean. This general census provides a vast majority of information on demographical data of Caribbean residents and their offspring. The information gathered through this survey, will consist of consumer buying habits, demographics, ethnic analysis, economics, social, and political data. This ground breaking endeavor will serve as a soft launch, to future studies for Nielsen ratings and other international statistics. The survey is design to show the multi-cultural influence and the impact made within a cross-cultural region.

Giving back to the community is the reason for this year’s celebration. It’s what really matters. Miami’s Broward One Carnival (https://www.facebook.com/MiamiBrowardOneCarnival) Host Committee has teamed up with Caribbean Media Network in an effort support fundraising of Fort Lauderdale based International charity “Food For The Poor”. The charity was originally founded by Jamaican native Ferdinand Mahfood. This conjoined effort makes the 30th Annual Miami Broward festival, not a fete, or a party, but a celebration with a purpose.

In addition, C.M.N. has partnered with the Florida International University (FIU) Caribbean Student Association, to host an inaugural “I AM” professional business panel. Its mains focus will be the global entertainment business, and how Caribbean Americans have impacted music, film, as well as other public relations fields. The panel discussion will take place on the campus of Florida International University, on October 9, 2014, from 1-3pm.

Finally, on Friday October 10, 2014, the 2014 Miami Caribbean American Movers and Shakers event will be held at the fabulous Frost Art Museum.
