The Designer Showhouse of New Jersey

SADDLE RIVER, N.J. - Sept. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Hackensack University Medical Center Foundation is pleased to announce that the Seventh Designer Showhouse of New Jersey will take place this Fall in Saddle River, New Jersey.  The Showhouse will open with a Preview Party on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 and will be open to the public through Sunday, November 16, 2014.    Traditional Home magazine is the 2014 National Media Sponsor.

Now in its seventh year, the Designer Showhouse of New Jersey is a showcase for premier design talent from New York and New Jersey.  Approximately 25 top interior and landscape designers will transform a magnificent French chateau estate into a decorating masterpiece.   Additional attractions include the Showhouse Boutique and the Showhouse Café by Fabulous Foods.  This year’s Showhouse is located at 11 Sawmill Road in Saddle River, New Jersey.

Proceeds will benefit the programs and services of the Hackensack University Medical Center (HackensackUMC).  HackensackUMC, a nonprofit teaching and research hospital located in Bergen County, NJ, is the largest provider of inpatient and outpatient services in the state. It is the flagship hospital of the Hackensack University Health Network, one of the largest health networks in the state comprised of 1,140 beds, nearly 10,000 employees and 2,200 credentialed physicians. The HackensackUMC Foundation is where philanthropy meets innovation, engaging generous people in opportunities to advance the medical center's programs and initiatives. As the philanthropic arm of the medical center since 1980, the HackensackUMC Foundation was established as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization to benefit Hackensack University Medical Center.

The Showhouse will open with a Preview Party on Wednesday, October 8, 2014 and will be open to the public from Thursday, October 9, 2014 to Sunday, November 16, 2014.  Showhouse hours will be as follows:  Tuesday through Sunday, 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM (closed on Mondays).  Children under six, infants, strollers and pets are not allowed in the Showhouse.  General Admission to the Showhouse is $35 and includes the Showhouse Journal.  Tickets to the Preview Party begin at $225.
