The tour will appeal to all the senses – sight, hearing, scent, taste and touch – through an infusion of visual arts, music and drama at each of the three stops – and on the busride itself along the 59 mile roundtrip route. Stops include the South Shore Art Center in Cohasset, the South Shore Conservatory in Duxbury and the Plymouth Center for the Arts, but additional member organizations will participate at each of those locations. Lunch is included in the tour. Tickets are $59 and are available at www.southshorechamber.org. Following the tour a Business after Hours will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Norwell Company Theatre. “The South Shore is a region rich with arts and culture; everyone knows that . . . What most people don’t know is the extent to which the arts and culture drive a creative economy here in Massachusetts through employing tens of thousands of people, purchasing business services and reinvestment in their communities. And, further, I have been surprised and delighted to just how many of the business leaders in our Chamber support the arts and culture by contributing their talent, financial support ansd serving on Boards of Directors for these organizations.” About the South Shore Chamber of Commerce The South Shore Chamber of Commerce has long been recognized throughout the state as one of the most active and forceful advocates for the business community and ranks among the top 1% of Chambers of Commerce nationally.
