Southeastern IT Provider EDTS Adds Netherton, Parrish to Expanding Technology Services Team

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Sept. 29, 2014 - PRLog -- Kevin Netherton has joined EDTS as a Business Technology Advisor, and Brandon Parrish has been added as a Senior Network Engineer at the rapidly growing IT firm, which provides managed IT services, network security, and advanced infrastructure solutions to Southeastern businesses. They will support customer needs across the firm’s Augusta (GA), Columbia and Greenville (SC) office footprint.

Mr. Netherton is a native of Morehead, Kentucky and current resident of Evans, Georgia, and holds a B.S. degree in Computer Networking and Security from the University of Maryland.  His two decades of IT experience includes network security, systems administration and user support with the United States Army and Clear Harbor prior to joining EDTS.  He holds numerous certifications including the Network+, A+ and Security+ accreditations.

With over 10 years of IT networking, security and support experience across multiple industries, Mr. Parrish is a native of Augusta and a current Martinez, Georgia resident.  He returns to EDTS from an IT management role in the private sector, and holds numerous certifications including Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), Enterprise Administrator, Server Administrator, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator and VMware Certified Professional.  He is particularly experienced in server virtualization, network infrastructure and virtual desktop infrastructure requirements.

Both Mr. Netherton and Mr. Parrish will help ensure that critical IT systems are available, optimized, and secure for EDTS clients, while helping those organizations increase team productivity and reduce cost associated with information technology.
