NR Road Racing presents a chocolatey good time. We are offering you sweet treats to keep you going throughout the 5k. Yes there will still be water stations, but for those of you with a sweet tooth, you can also have a little piece of joy. Enjoy a family-friendly three mile course with your friends, family, and other choc-oholic strangers. It doesn’t matter how fast or old you are; everyone is welcome to participate and join in the fun! After the race, we’ll be still partying and filling up with chocolate. You are invited to hang out and party to the music and have some more chocolate on us! Family and friends are always encouraged to join in the party at the end!

Key Club is the oldest and largest service organization for high schoolers. When high schoolers join Key Club they commit to at least 50 service hours a year, which can be gained by helping out at runs, tutoring at nearby schools, and much more. Enloe High School is the home of the largest key club in North and South Carolina with over 450 members. Their goal is to help their homes, school, and community while making friends along the way. Their portions of their proceeds will be donated to Project Eliminate. To celebrate, the Kiwanis Family is trying to reach a goal of 110 million dollars to help eliminate maternal neonatal tetanus in developing countries. Maternal neonatal tetanus, often referred to as MNT, is a disease which causes new born babies and even mothers to die of extreme sensitivity to light and touch. The disease is highly preventable and costs only $1.80 to immunize a mother and all of her future children. $1.80… which also how much it costs for a pack of gum.
