JPMA Members Exhibit Wide Array of Products to Members of Congress

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Sept. 30, 2014 - PRLog -- Combi USA is proud to participate in The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) first-ever Juvenile Products Congressional Product Showcase as part of its annual Baby Safety Month celebration. This Showcase is the first of its kind to exhibit to Members of Congress and their staff the wide variety of products that make up the U.S juvenile products industry.

“The Juvenile Products Congressional Product Showcase is an opportunity to see, test and feel how the juvenile product industry is working to advance innovation, design, comfort, safety and convenience for parents, caregivers and children,” said JPMA Executive Director Kelly Mariotti.

“We could not be more thrilled to participate in this showcase and are excited about the opportunity to allow Members of Congress to get a glimpse into all of the hard work that goes into creating innovative products that are practical, safe and fun,” said Combi USA Marketing Communications Specialist Brittany Nona.

Combi USA joined with more than 40 manufacturers from the juvenile products industry to provide information and education to legislators, regulators and other stakeholders about advances in product safety for mobility.

Additional product categories featured at the showcase include:

Feeding

Vehicle Transportation/Child Restraint Systems (CRS)

Health and Safety

Sleep

Soft Goods

All products displayed at the Showcase, with a combined estimated value of $15,000 will be donated to the National Center for Children and Families.

“JPMA member manufacturers truly made this event possible, and we thank them for their generous donations and support,” added Mariotti. “We are proud to represent an industry that is so generous, innovative and compassionate!”

Established in 1989 as a subsidiary of the number one-selling Combi Corporation in Japan, Combi USA strives to provide stylish, practical and innovative juvenile products. Derived from the word “combination,” Combi refers to the critical relationship between children and their caretakers. Combi draws inspiration from modern, sleek Japanese design, then transforms those ideas into juvenile products, such as strollers, car seats, and mobile entertainers, that are convenient and suitable for American families.

About the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association

The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA) is a national trade organization of more than 250 companies in the United States, Canada and Mexico. JPMA exists to advance the interests, growth and well-being of North American prenatal-to-preschool product manufacturers, importers and distributors marketing under their own brands to consumers. It does so through advocacy, public relations, information sharing, product performance certification and business development assistance conducted with appreciation for the needs of parents, children and retailers.

Each year, JPMA sponsors Baby Safety Month in September to educate parents and caregivers on the importance of the safe use and selection of juvenile products.
