The Glow In The Night 5k comes to Dothan, AL

DOTHAN, Ala. - Sept. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- NR Road Racing will hold a Glow in the Night 5k on Friday, October 10th, 2014 at 7:00 pm to help support the Autism Society of Alabama. The event will be held at Westgate Memorial Park (126 North St. Andrews St. Dothan, AL 36303). Race registration is $40 for individuals and $30 per person for teams of 4 or more. Prices will increase $5 on Sept. 25th. There will be a $50 walk up registration fee. All ages are welcome, however, anyone 12 and older must be registered.  If you are not interested in running, we strongly encourage you to volunteer! Sure, there are all sorts of night runs, but nothing like the Glow in the Night 5k! We take the Glow in the Night to the next level, leaving you with a one of a kind experience! Be prepared to get completely covered in glow powder while walking or running the 3 mile course under the cool glow of the black lights. All ages and runner/walker levels are welcome to participate! This is a family friendly event that will leave you glowing from head to toe! The Glow in the Night course will have designated parts of the course for the glow zones lit by black lights. At these glow zones glow-ologists will bombard participants in order to cover them in color. All of the colors are 100% natural and are safe to digest, although not recommended. Come for the 5k, but stay for the glowing after party! Dance the night away under the black lights while getting covered in more glow dust. You won’t want this fun one of a kind night to end!
