Chicago Police Memorial Foundation Launches Website for Horses of Honor Charity Art Installation

CHICAGO - Sept. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- Since 1853, over 500 Chicago police officers have fallen in the line of duty while helping to protect the city of Chicago. In honor of the officers who have given their lives for the city, Wintrust has partnered with the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation to create a public art installation: Horses of Honor.

The Horses of Honor sculptures are designed to resemble the horses of Chicago's Mounted Patrol Units, standing for the support and assistance the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation provides for the families of officers who have been killed or injured.

When tasked with creating an easily accessible way for Chicagoans and people all over the world to view the installation and donate to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation, Dakota Shultz, Partner and Co-Founder of Agency 360, chose Launch Digital Marketing of Chicago.

Not only can people all over the world support the Chicago Police Memorial Fund through the Horses of Honor website, they can also view the collection of over 75 painted police horse statues from the convenience of their home. Each statue is painted and designed by local Chicago artists, and sponsors may choose their own artists or work with the project curators to find an artist. As new statues are finished and put on display, they will appear in the Horses of Honor Gallery.
