DK&L Foundation & Mercedes Yvette To Host “Runway Gossip” Fashion Show Raising Money Window Safety

LOS ANGELES - Sept. 28, 2014 - PRLog -- The DylanKeith & Laurie Foundation and Mercedes Yvette of America’s Next Top Model Cycle 2 will be hosting a fashion show on Saturday, October 11^th.  “Runway Gossip” is designed to raise money for child safety with a focus on window safety.

This event will highlight some of L.A.’s hottest designers and boutiques, including Grind Flipp, Rich Embellish and 2SXY4U.  Local businesses will also be in attendance to show their support, such as Sweet Bottom Treats, Steph's Healthy Coffee & More, The Lupus Foundation, and Kays Way Creations.  The fashion show will take place at the Dockweiler Youth Center, located at 12505 Vista Del Mar, Los Angeles, CA 90245.  Doors will open at 1:00pm.

The DylanKeith & Laurie Foundation was founded to educate and inform all families and communities about the importance of window safety and accident prevention.  Both founders of the DK&L Foundation, Doris Laurie and Kristin Best, lost a child due to a window fall.  Through the foundation, Doris and Kristin hope to educate and inform the community of the importance of securing windows in their homes.
