R. Seelaus & Co., Inc. Welcomes Ben Seelaus, Formerly of Morgan Stanley as Managing Director

SUMMIT, N.J. - Sept. 26, 2014 - PRLog -- Summit, NJ, October 1, 2014 – R. Seelaus & Co., Inc. is pleased to announce that Ben Seelaus will join the firm as Managing Director on October 1, 2014.  Prior to joining R. Seelaus & Co., Inc., Mr. Seelaus served as Managing Director and Head of US Government Bond Trading at Morgan Stanley.  Seelaus, 32, is long a veteran of the Fixed Income markets having also served as US Government Bond Trader for both JP Morgan and HSBC.  He grew up locally and is a graduate of Princeton University and Seton Hall Prep.   He currently participates in a number of philanthropic endeavors including serving as Vice-Chairmen of the Board of Trustees of Brooklyn Jesuit Prep.

Founder and President Richard Seelaus established the firm in 1984, and has successfully navigated various market cycles and economic downturns over the last thirty years.   Ben will join sister and father, as well as Bernie Garruppo, Mike Cornell, and Karolina Pajdak, to continue to increase the firm’s footprint in the Asset Management and Fixed Income Broker Dealer space, and to provide value for institutional and retail clients alike.
