Matt went on to explain that Ben brings a wealth of education and experience to this role. He attended both Weber State College and the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, and before he joined Titan Elements Inc., he was an Independent financial planner with Northwestern Mutual. Ben’s expertise was in financial planning, with a focus on retirement and estate planning for individuals, families and businesses. Ben’s professionalism and ability to customize products to fit a client’s need transferred nicely to his career with Titan Elements Inc, and makes him an especially good fit for his role as assistant manager.

Upon being promoted to Assistant Manager, Ben will find himself wearing a number of different hats, including operations manager, recruiting manager, and corporate trainer. His new responsibilities will include learning the on boarding process for new associates, which involves background checks and initial payroll procedures. Also, he will have a number of new administrative duties and executive responsibilities, including networking, building client relations, and intra-organizational communication.

What’s more, he’ll need to learn all these facets fast: the assistant manager position is not a long-term position. “Assistant managers are expected to learn a lot in a short amount of time, because the goal is to move them into upper management as soon as possible,” explained Matt.
