LEICESTER, U.K. - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Reducing light scatter and diffuse reflections and focussing light rays through the centre of your pupil potentially benefits every wearer; providing sharper vision with less effort, thereby improving clarity and reducing eye fatigue…especially when the eyes would normally be under stress (in fluorescent and LED lighting, using smart phones, laptops and tablets reading for long periods, driving at night etc).

The exciting new technology lens from independent lens manufacturer and optical lens designer Jai Kudo is only available at selected independent optometrists such as Visual Answers Opticians in Loughborough.

Aside from the general benefits of reflection-free lenses, Visual Answers have had positive reports from both emerging and post cataract patients, as the reduction of diffuse light also equates to a reduction of the glare that people with lens thickening, lens opacities and cataracts suffer.

The unique lens has a specially designed ‘honeycomb’ anti-glare UV blocking coating that uses the principal of ‘pinhole glasses’. The honeycomb shape, interestingly is found routinely in nature including beehives, flowers, and snow flakes.

Migraine sufferers have also found migraine relief as the lens reduces sensory input due to pattern glare and flicker. The lens also has had resports of success from clients with with various types of Visual Dyslexia, Visual Stress, Irlen Syndrome and Photosensitive Epilepsy too.

One patient, a young girl with Irlen Syndrome (also known as Visual Stress), said that her eyes no longer hurt, and that she hasn't had any headaches since wearing them. Her mother commented that she genuinely seems to be more relaxed with them… previously she had coloured glasses to help her visual dyslexia and although they improved reading and eye tracking, she would hardly wear them as she was teased at school.

Help With Dyslexia

'We believe that 'Honeycomb lenses'', truly prevent disability glare from oncoming car headlights while maintaining clarity of vision."  They also provide relief to those that are sensitive to bright light, experience visually sensitive headache or migraines, or have reading problems attributed to visual dyslexia’, said Mohammed.
