Introducing Dear You: Messages From Your Heart

New book from award-winning author and mixed media artist Jacquelyn Fletcher illustrates the healing power of creativity

MINNEAPOLIS - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Practitioners in the healing professions have long known what business innovators and researchers are only just discovering now. Creativity is one of the most powerful tools human beings possess. Dear You: Messages From Your Heart (Gold House Press, 2014) is the newest book from award-winning author, artist and speaker Jacquelyn B. Fletcher.

Dear You is a series of insightful, hand-stamped letters addressed to “Dear You” from the tender yet pragmatic and sometimes challenging character “Your Heart.” Each short letter in the series delivers a powerful message of courage, hope and love on a variety of topics that span the entire spectrum of the human experience.

“Studies over the past twenty years have shown the remarkable impact that creative expression can have on our bodies and minds,” says Fletcher. “When I suffered a major heartbreak that literally brought me to my knees, I had to put this research to the test. By using my own creativity, I was able to heal myself. Dear You illustrates the universal experience of healing and showcases how we can all tap into our powers to evolve, grow, and transform as human beings.”

In Dear You, Messages From Your Heart, Fletcher illustrates how the power of the human imagination enables us to create completely new solutions to the inevitable problems thrown at us in life. In this easy-to-follow, whimsically pragmatic collection, Fletcher combines her own personal experiences, proven research and an extraordinary well of creativity and inspiration to deliver a series of letters that answers questions of the mind with solutions from the heart. Dear You demonstrates beautifully what artists and true healers have always known, that harnessing creativity can completely transform our mental, physical, and spiritual health.

Dear You: Messages From Your Heart serves as a heartfelt gift book and a tool for change for any individual seeking transformation, small or large. The book is accompanied by a unique collection of art and gifts available on Etsy. (https://www.etsy.com/shop/JacquelynFletcher?ref=l2-shophe...)
