3 Day Startup NYC and SOVVOS Coworking Partner Together

MANHATTAN, N.Y. - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- The New York City arm of 3 Day Startup (“3DS NYC”), a nonprofit organization teaching entrepreneurial skills to students and entrepreneurs, announced their partnership today with SOVVOS Coworking November 14-16. The program will start at 6:00 p.m Friday, November 14 and end at 8 p.m on Sunday, November 16. SOVVOS Coworking is located at 1140 Broadway, Suite 501, New York, NY 10001. The partnership will focus on teaching participants how to incorporate great design principles into agile software development.

Partnering with SOVVOS Coworking was a smart choice for us because they have a great eye for design being under the auspices of AJSNY, a leading design and visualization firm here in the city” said Desiree Frieson, lead organizer of 3DS NYC. “Tech entrepreneurs create solutions to major problems and pain points in the market, design is important visually and in engineering processing. We want our students to learn this quickly and implement it throughout their startup careers."

The Fall 2014 program will focus on why design, user friendliness and creating clear paths to customer action in-app or on-site can lead to success for young entrepreneurs. The 3DS NYC and SOVVOS Coworking partnership seeks to teach 40 young entrepreneurs what it takes to innovate the ABC of agile startup development, great elements of design, how to collaborate, pitch investors, and implement advisor feedback in their projects. The three day program culminates in a pitch night of four established angel investors and venture capitalist seeking to give back to emerging entrepreneurs critiquing their projects and advising on next steps.
