By: Slightly Unusual Slightly Unusual - Winners of Brit Idol, Britain Does Variety, the British Magical Society Stage Magicians of the Year and The Most Loved Entertainers in the UK - are common faces on the TV screen and have appeared on the Alan Titchmarsh show and Sky News. But they will now be seen at weddings taking place at The Wroxeter Hotel near Shrewsbury after the two organisations joined together to make Shropshire weddings even more special. The magicians will be showing off their skills at The Wroxeter Hotel’s wedding fair on September 28th, along with dozens of other small businesses. Hannah Hall, of the Wroxeter, said it was great to team up with such a talented entertainment team. She said: “Slightly Unusual are fantastic at what they do and have been recognised as the best in the business many times. “It is great to partner up with them and have them travelling from Wolverhampton so that the brides and grooms of Shropshire can show them off to their wedding guests.” “More and more Wolverhampton couples are choosing to get married in Shropshire as we are able to offer such amazing value for money. “What couples are saving on venue costs, they’re able to spend on bigger and better entertainment like Slightly Unusual’s class act.” The Wroxeter and Slightly Unusual have produced a video showcasing their joint venture which is now on YouTube and Mrs Hall said all of the staff are looking forward to their first event with the magicians in action. “Magic is always a great thing to watch and I think the staff are excited that Slightly Unusual will be performing as they are catering the wedding breakfasts. “Acts such as this always bring a lot of laughter and fun to an event and in turn that is great for our wedding team to see.” Craig Petty , managing director of Slightly Unusual, said the partnership with the hotel was unique. “It is the first venue we have teamed up with exclusively to offer our services and we are very excited. “We have developed an illusion show specifically for weddings, getting the bride and groom up onto the stage. It’s great fun and very memorable for all the weddings guests.” http://www.slightlyunusual.co.uk/#! End
