For the ENTIRE month of October 2014, "the world's most extreme Asian culture fusion festival" will be premiering Philadelphia's 1st-ever reality show based cosplay competition, Philly's Next Top Cosplayer! And after many weeks of searching & weeding through dozens of prospects, we have paired up a fierce set of conestants from the costumed world up with mentors (sensei) who are well-respected in the TAKII Family & masters in their respective fields. These groupings will then do battle in a dizzying series of challenges to measure their collective & individual physical & emotional acumen in the cosplay arena. And on a pre-scheduled basis, cosplay fans worldwide will be able to vote through (via a variety of methods) their favorites to the next stage(s), while the bottom cast members duel each other for a chance at redemption & survival. By having THEIR fate in YOUR hands, ANYTHING is possible! This process will repeat itself until only a few people are left & will culminate with Philly's Next Top Cosplayer ~FINALE~ to be held LIVE at 1 of TAKII's newest venue partners, INE Studios (8 N. Preston St., Philadelphia, PA 19104) on October 25th, 2014 (from 4:00pm - 10:00pm EST). This is 1 competition that you simply CANNOT miss & we are excited to bring this experience to the city of brotherly love in just under 2 weeks time!

The Asian Karaoke Idol Invitational has been known to organize some very "interesting" tourneys in its day. There were blind Super Mario Bros. races, random MUGEN matches, & the list goes on. Basically, if you could find a game that was daring enough to handle a random TAKII stipulation thrown at it, then you would have gaming comedy GOLD on your hands (^_^).
