CALIFORNIA, Calif. - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- CaliforniaCarbon.info, the leading analytics and intelligence provider for the California carbon market, today announces the release of its PricePad v1.0. PricePad is an interactive and multi-functional webtool designed to integrate the latest available data into a comprehensive forward price projection for California carbon allowances (CCAs).

CaliforniaCarbon.info uses two industry-wide sector-based emissions forecasts, based respectively on considerations of macro-economic and micro-economic (or industry-specific) growth rates, to offer alternative supply-demand and price projections for each given year through 2020. With PricePad, users may either input their own growth rate projections, or make use of the default values provided from CaliforniaCarbon.info's research. Allowance demand is mapped using historical emissions data and preset econometric formulae, and is then the basis of the price projection.
