Shyamlal College Initiates New Media Add-on Courses for 2014

KAROL BAGH, India - Sept. 25, 2014 - PRLog -- Having entered its 49th year, Shyam Lal College has already earned its legitimate reputation as the most efficient and complete educational institution in the entire East Delhi region. The College now strives to be among the best institutions in the entire University of Delhi, and over the past several years, has been making steady progress in that direction. The endeavor of the College has always been to make higher education more enjoyable, job-oriented, meaningful and practical, and at the same time more adaptable to the ever changing demands of our society and globe.

ShyamLal College, DU has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the RK Films and Media Academy (RKFMA) for the introduction of add-on course in Media Studies. RKFMA is a Delhi based organisation. RKFMA has collaborated with a few other Delhi University’s colleges as well in the past. The list of colleges that were running media courses in association with RKFMA were Hansraj College, Miranda House and Janki Devi Memorial College. It is still running media courses in collaboration with Jesus and Mary College and Campus of Open Learning.

ELIGIBILITY:

The students who have cleared their 10+2 are eligible. All interested students from any university, college, and institute are welcome to join the courses.  International Students can also apply for the courses.

PROCESS FOR ADDMISSION:

Application Forms can be either obtained from Account Office of Shyam Lal College or from R.K Films and Media Academy (RKFMA, Karol Bagh) on payment of Rs.100/-. Admissions to the course are open till 20^th of October, 2014.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Ø  Students will be considered and selected after a screening.

Ø  2-3 classes will be held per week after regular college hours.

Ø  Weekend Classes also available.

Ø  Limited Seats available on First-Come-First-Serve basis.
