Motor City Cleanse Healing of Detroit Campaign

DETROIT - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Wholistic Health expert Dr. Jesse Brown, the owner of , “Detroit Wholistic Center & Wholistic Training Institute along with staff have worked with over 50,000 people since 1987 in Wholistic health and hydrotherapy, and has decided to answer the call to help heal Detroit, by launching their very own superior cleanse the, “Motor City Cleanse” at the “Healing of Detroit “ campaign event , this Saturday, September27, 2014.

Brown refers to our heavily industrialized cities that are full of pollution in the air, food and water as, “Motor Cities” and the less people move the unhealthier they become, says Brown. Detroit is the original “Motor City” but not the only one; every city that is heavily industrial and lacks clean air and water is now considered a Motor City. Detroit ranks in the top five obesity city, and therefore one of the unhealthiest cities in the country. Detroit also has a reputation for blight and economic depression, could a cleanse be what the Motor City needs?

According to Dr. Brown, the “Motor City Cleanse” is one step in a bigger plan that he calls, “Healing of Detroit Campaign through Empowerment, Employment, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.”  The Detroit Wholistic Training Institute enables people to help themselves and love ones wholistically, as well as gain employment, a career or start businesses in health and wellness.

Friends, volunteers & supporters of Detroit Wholistic Center will gather @ 8:30 am for prayer to kick off,  “Healing of Detroit Campaign” Saturday, September 27, at 20944 Grandriver Ave. Detroit, MI 48219. The “Healing of Detroit Campaign” will officially open to the general public from 11:00 am – 5:00 p.m.

The entire community is invited to come out and participate in the “Healing of Detroit Campaign,” all nationalities, cultures, religious denominations and faiths for this truly wholistic event. The event is free and donations will be accepted with proceeds benefiting the Wholistic Educational Fund and S. A. F. E. foundation.

Dr. Jesse Brown will introduce the first ever, “Motor City Cleanse,” at the “Healing of Detroit Campaign” event.  There will be some featured classes on, “A Matter of Life and Death” by Dr. Akua Gray; “Traditional healing”, by Adela Nieves; “Diabetes Prevention and Improvement”, by Ife Johnson from Operation Healthy Living; “Domestic Violence, Child Abuse and Relationships,” by the people expert Dr. Sabrina Jackson; “Money Talks,” by Financial Manager and Expert Larry Folmar;“Your Hair and Your Health,” by Marla Renee & Angelique Renee Mills.

Dr. Brown believes that the health of Detroit is based on the health of the individual person, Healthy people is an asset in bringing the city back to life physically, emotionally, socially, spiritually, economically and psychologically.
