This year, 35 exhibitors and sponsors and over 150 participants are expected to attend. The goal of this year’s event is to raise $16,000 for Leap to Success programs. Denise Arand, West Coast Vice President of Five Rings Financial, the organizer, says “Five Rings Financial intends to give back to the community of women who have supported Wine Women & Wealth since its inception, and the global community of women who face incredible challenges on a daily basis.” “The best investment,” The keynote speaker is Colette Carlson, the award winning author, speaker, and businesswoman who will share The Truth about Balance. Ms. Carlson says “Too many women feel emotionally and physically spent trying to be everything to everyone.” “Collapsing on our pillow, wondering where the day went, we beat ourselves up that we didn't get more done, and then we start tomorrow's list.” “We can laugh more and stress less, and I’ll show you how.” Dana Bristol-Smith, Executive Director of Leap to Success, is also on the agenda along with several program graduates. “Five Rings Financial and Leap to Success share many of the same values” says Ms. Bristol-Smith. “We both strive to empower women through education and support.” “When women are empowered, the sky’s the limit for what they can accomplish!” About Five Rings Financial Five Rings Financials’ mission is to share the basics and fundamentals of a personal financial education with average Americans, and helping them apply what they have learned. They have clients and offices all over the country. About Leap to Success - Beneficiary Leap to Success was started in 2008 as a volunteer project by Dana Bristol-Smith. Since that time, over 400 women have graduated from their training programs that are taught by experts in personal and professional development, and counseling. Programs are offered to women who are referred by domestic violence and homeless agencies in North County and San Diego. End
