Local Builder to Attend Green Building Conference

College Station, September 23, 2014 - Hugh Stearns, owner of Stearns Design Build will attend Greenbuild in October. Greenbuild is The U.S. Green Building Council’s (USGBC) International Conference, which convenes the largest gathering of green building leaders. This year’s Greenbuild conference will be held in New Orleans, LA and is expected to draw more than 25,000 attendees.

Greenbuild offers attendees the opportunity to learn and hear from leading industry experts covering a wide range of topics that affect the future of green building. Featured speakers will come from around the world and across a broad cross section of disciplines. This year’s speakers will include renowned author, speaker and doctor Deepak Chopra.

Green Building is an intensive design and construction process that uses building science to reduce energy consumption and provide healthier designed environments.
