This seventh edition of the fair will showcase 104 stands from Central American companies, and has an expected participation of over 100 buyers from the United States, Europe, Australia and Latin America, as well as recognized local companies.

The five Nicaraguan companies that are showcasing products at the fair, in booths #61 through #64, include:

Nicaragua’s participation in this event is part of the Competitiveness Strengthening Program for Nicaraguan Enterprises (http://www.pronicaragua.org/en/newsroom/press-releases/11...), an initiative of the Government of Nicaragua with the support of the European Union to aid local companies in building capacity and increasing their competitiveness in order to penetrate key international markets. Companies interested in participating need to be currently exporting or have export potential, must be legally established and operating for at least one year, must possess the adequate production facilities, and must be able to meet the program’s financial obligations.

PRONicaragua works directly with exporters all over the country and buyers abroad to create new business alliances, market opportunities and higher living standards for families, farmers, manufacturers, workers, consumers, and businesses in general. The agency’s complimentary services include: identification of potential local suppliers and exporters, elaboration of export-related and market access information packages for products of interest, organization of site-visit agendas to explore export opportunities and technical advice on different export-related incentives and mechanisms.
