DALLAS - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Paradox Compensation Advisors (http://paradoxcompadvisors.com/), an executive and broad-based employee compensation program design and services firm, received national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise by the Women’s Business Council - Southwest (WBCS). This widely recognized certification reserved for women-owned, operated and controlled companies, required Paradox to participate in an in-depth review of its operations as well as a site inspection. Its designation as a nationally certified WBE will help to open up the company to new business opportunities and government sectors that haven’t been previously reached.

“We’re honored to be recognized by an organization that provides support, guidance and opportunities to women-owned and operated businesses like ours,” said Marsha Cameron, co-founder and partner of Paradox.

“Women-owned businesses are historically underutilized, making this designation the ideal opportunity to expand into sectors that are required to meet certain supplier diversity goals and standards,” she continued. “Corporations and government agencies that include women-owned businesses among their vendors demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity.”

Formed in early 2009 by Cameron and co-founder Billie Day, Paradox has developed a robust private and public company client base ranging from ten million to over several billion in annual revenue, in addition to the public sector and non-profit organizations. Services include compensation strategy and program design for base pay; incentives (short- and long-term); equity and commissions. Paradox also provides support in the development of required infrastructure such as job analysis, market analysis, job evaluation and salary and bonus planning to assist companies in administering their compensation programs.

WBCS is a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the nation’s largest third party certifier of women-owned and operated businesses in the United States.  WBENC is a resource for more than a thousand U.S. companies and government agencies that rely on WBENC’s certification as an integral part of their supplier diversity programs.

“Being nationally certified by the WBENC allows us to provide additional benefits and opportunities to our existing clients as well,” added co-founder Billie Day. “This designation further supports our growth goals for the company, and allows us to bring a more comprehensive level of service to the middle market.”
