ClearCove Systems Selected by National Renewable Energy Laboratory to Present at Elite Forum

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- September 23, 2014, Rochester, NY – ClearCove Systems, a renewable energy company that recovers fuel from the organic matter in wastewater, announced today it was selected by the Energy Department’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) to present at its Industry Growth Forum.

NREL selected 30 companies to present at the Forum from more than 150 applicants.  The Forum, being held October 28-29 in Denver, represents a premier opportunity for innovative clean-tech companies to gain exposure to venture capital, corporate investors, and strategic partners.

ClearCove Systems offers a patented, gravity-driven system that removes the bulk of organic matter from wastewater in the primary stage of treatment. Its enhanced primary treatment solution for municipal and industrial systems cuts the energy required to treat wastewater by half or more while capturing energy-rich organic material that can be used to produce bio-gas or electricity.  The ClearCove system generates fuel for anaerobic digestion that yields up to three times the methane gas production of conventional approaches.

“We’re honored to have been chosen to present amid so many qualified companies,” said ClearCove President Gary Miller. “We have a solution that will make an energy producing asset out of something that is currently an energy consuming liability.  We‘re at the forefront of economic and environmental change in the industry.”
