NEW YORK - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Michael Murphenko has established himself as the preeminent artist of Ukraine. His scorching political commentary acts as a binding encasement, containing a seething body of critical outcry. He naturally feeds off the duress surrounding him and utilizes its energetic denseness, producing works of great expression. One can feel the anxiety of the knife as it hovers overhead precariously.

Arnolkis Turro's sobering realization of time stood still brings to the forefront the discourse of the preservation of cultural integrity which is often lost through acts of civility by the civil on behalf of the uncivil. Representing Latin American reality, Turro reminds us of our diversity and the world's incongruous spurts of “development."

Mariano Cinat's portrayal of darkened spiritual reflection reminds us that we are a culmination of all things past. His moody, emotional displays of theatrical proportion jolt us to our core.

Ezequiel Rosenfeldt's blunt exposure of our innermost workings, bared and naked, cause truthful self analysis. His innate talent to peel back the layers and reveal even the most grotesque of undercarriages affords us lessons beyond his years. The brunt of his address spares us the flagrant niceties often promulgated by knee jerk reaction.

Ian Nettleton’s celebration of the organic wonderment of life draws on immediate spontaneity. His nostalgic reminiscing of beginnings offers solace in the fast paced, technologically unruly present.

Dirk Janssens' incorrigible delight and midnight summer's dream embodies true romantic gesture. His optimistic offerings touches even the most jaded negative.

Marcio Pilot progresses beauty, desire and mystery to new feats while creating fantastic worlds landscaped with hills and valleys of surrealistic boundary. He provides us with alternate realities in which to retreat and get lost.

Yasuto Sasada spreads the word of visual excess, bombarding us with symbolic nuance. Sasada's unpredictable youth lashes out at society under the guise and mentorship of Yohji Yamamoto. His direct and commercial assault is rebellious and leads to questions of generational upheaval. Sasada's buried angst surfaces through battles of outlandish scenarios played out in bright extremity.

The International Biennale of Contemporary Art will be held at the Centro Cultural Borges, Buenos Aires, Argentina 03-10 October 2014.
