“The Global Health Solution: Frontline Health Workers”

The public is invited to attend an Ambassadors’ Roundtable series breakfast presentation by Michael Nyenhuis at the Stamford Yacht Club on October 8, 2014.
 
STAMFORD, Conn. - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Michael J. Nyenhuis joined AmeriCares in 2014 as its President and Chief Executive Officer. AmeriCares has partners in 90 countries and an annual budget of approximately $500 million. Nyenhuis oversees offices in the U.S., India, Haiti, Japan, Sri Lanka, along with a network of free health clinics in AmeriCares home state of Connecticut and the AmeriCares Family Clinic in El Salvador. Previously, Nyenhuis was with global nonprofit MAP International since 1995, serving as its President and Chief Executive Officer from 2000 to 2014.

Nyenhuis holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin - Green Bay and a Master of Business Administration from Emory University.

The cost for the breakfast and presentation is free for AR series members, $30 for Forum members and $50 for the general public. The event will start at 7:15 A.M. with coffee and networking followed by a full breakfast buffet at 7:30. The presentation will begin at 8 A.M. and Mr. Nyenhuis will take questions.
