Scott and Company CPAs Add Ronnie Head, Sarah Judge to Audit Team in South Carolina

GREENVILLE, S.C. - Sept. 24, 2014 - PRLog -- Scott and Company LLC, one of South Carolina’s leading accounting and consulting firms, has added certified public accountant Ronnie Head and Sarah Judge to the firm’s growing Assurance and Advisory Services team.

A resident of West Columbia, Mr. Head rejoins Scott and Company as Senior Manager after five years in the private sector as Vice President of Finance for BCI Lending, where he oversaw all finance department operations for the Columbia-based organization.  He previously served with Scott and Company from 2003 – 2009, and has more than 15 years of combined experience in industry and public accounting.  He is a graduate of the University of Georgia where he earned a B.B.A. in Accounting and a Masters of Accountancy with Audit Specialization.  Mr. Head is an active member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the South Carolina Association of CPAs, and a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Columbia.

Ms. Judge joins Scott and Company as an Associate Accountant from Ernst & Young in Cleveland, Ohio where she was on the assurance services team working on a range of clients in the manufacturing, healthcare, closely-held businesses and not-for-profit arenas.  A native of Akron, Ohio, she is a graduate of the University of South Carolina’s Moore School of Business with a B.S. in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting and International Business.  Ms. Judge has passed four sections of the CPA exam and her licensure is currently in process.

At Scott and Company, both Mr. Head and Ms. Judge will work on audit engagements, risk assessments, financial statement preparation and other duties for governmental and not-for-profit clients, as well as with a broad range of closely-held businesses in industries including real estate, hospitality, manufacturing and healthcare across the firm’s Southeastern client base.
