SEATTLE - Sept. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- This fall, patients of The Physical Therapy Onsite Clinic at The University of Puget Sound (http://www.pugetsound.edu/academics/departments-and-programs/graduate/school-of-physical-therapy)will be introduced to itBandz, neoprene bands made to support and stabilize the knee for people who suffer from knee pain. Designed to provide support for your kneecap, wearing an itBandz will provide extra stability while you run or workout.

Physical therapy clinicians and students will be introducing itBandz to patients with knee problems and then collecting information from the patients, clinicians and students about the effectiveness and comfort level.  The Physical Therapy Onsite Clinic at The University of Puget Sound offers physical therapy services to the community in a free clinic where students deliver care monitored by licensed therapists.  This onsite clinic offers an exercise/wellness program during the fall semester for individuals with minor musculoskeletal or neurological diagnoses who wish to improve or maintain their current levels of fitness.  itBandz will be distributed as appropriate to patients with musculoskeletal dysfunction.

“itBandz can be an important aspect of a successful knee rehabilitation program.  It is a tremendous opportunity for us to partner with the UPS Physical Therapy program so that we can collect a full, 360-degree view of how itBandz can contribute to helping people work through their knee problems to become pain free. We are honored to be a part of such an innovative and progressive program,” says Pache.

Endorsed and recommended by physical therapists as a way to enhance recovery of knee related issues and decrease pain, Pache hopes that itBandz will help patients of the UPS clinic to enjoy physical activities without suffering from knee pain.
