It’s a Wrap! Let’s Party! Serious Coffee contestants, family, and friends AND Serious Coffee’s fabulously loyal clientele are all invited to the 2014 Jingle Contest Wrap-up Party being held to thank everyone who participated - whether by entering or voting!

The 2014 Jingle Contest was a great success, with entries from all over Vancouver Island. All ages participated and each jingle was unique, creative and covered a wide variety of genres. Voting is now closed and the contestants with the Top 20 votes, have now been shortlisted. Serious Coffee will narrow the list to 3 and announce the winner of the $1,000 cash prize at the Jingle Contest Wrap-up Party on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Serious Coffee Cowichan Commons Café, located in Duncan BC (North Cowichan across from Wal-Mart).

Door prizes, food and a special guest will be in attendance, musician BJ Cook.

BJ Cook grew up in Victoria, BC and returned home to stay after achieving a lot of success in the music industry.  She was one of the lead singers in the hit 70's band, Skylark, was a member of the Ronnie Hawkins Band, and is a talented songwriter/singer, with an aptitude for spotting undiscovered talent. In addition, BJ was married to the Grammy-award winner David Foster and was instrumental in helping him achieve his goal of becoming a household name. David puts so much faith in her that he regularly asks her to scout for young talent that he can take under his wing. We are honoured to have her with us and want to show our support for an organization that is near and dear to BJ's heart, the Battered Women's Shelter. We will be donating $500 plus all the proceeds from the day's hot dog sales. Tell everyone you know that between noon and 2pm a medium drip coffee will cost $1 and specialty drinks only $2. Other goodies and beverages will be provided at no cost.

The Juice FM will be onsite giving 6 live updates throughout the event and a professional videographer will also be streaming the event live via YouTube (search: 2014 Jingle Contest Wrap-up Party on YouTube).

All are welcome at this family-friendly event and they hope to end this contest the same way it ran, with everyone cheering each other on!

About Serious Coffee:

Serious Coffee is a coffee roasting company located in Duncan, British Columbia and has 25 locally owned franchises situated from Sidney to Campbell River and Port Alberni.  This year they are celebrating their 20th anniversary. Thanks to their loyal clients, this small Vancouver Island company is making an impact in the coffee world. Their unwavering commitment to serving fresh coffee, (and when they say fresh they don't mean simply fresh brewed, they mean fresh all the way through the manufacturing process to your cup), has generated diehard Serious Coffee fans.  Those who know about Serious Coffee understand that they've been defining truly fresh coffee by their philosophy to only use coffee beans that have been roasted the day before being shipped to their cafes.  Fresh brewed coffee is great but it’s only as fresh as the beans that are used.  That's the difference between Serious Coffee and other companies.

Roasted, delivered and brewed fresh...Serious Coffee, 20 years of defining fresh.
