"It's never too early to start planning, and we are excited to be offering an opportunity for smaller companies and organizations to celebrate the season in a big way," noted Leon Drogy, the hotel's banquet manager. "Whether they have two or 200 people, they can join us for a spectacular evening of dining, dancing and conversation in our Tri-State Ballroom." The holiday extravaganza package includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine and soft drinks, with liquor available at an open bar, from 6 to 7 p.m. A deluxe buffet dinner and dancing will follow from 7 to 11 p.m., with a variety of main course selections; a dessert station and coffee bar; and unlimited beer, wine and soft drinks. The $50 cost per person includes sales tax and service charge. "Our goal is to provide a cost-effective but large-scale event for the professional community," Drogy noted. "Companies with just a handful of employees can enjoy a holiday party that rivals the highest-quality corporate affair." Located at 50 Park Place, the Robert Treat Hotel boasts more than 22,000 square feet of ballroom and function space. The Tri-State Ballroom, the largest in Northern New Jersey, accommodates up to 1,500 guests and is divisible for smaller gatherings.
