Best Western Aku Tiki Inn Sponsors 2014 Daytona Beach Blues Festival

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - Sept. 23, 2014 - PRLog -- The Best Western Aku Tiki Inn announces their sponsorship of the 2014 Daytona Beach Blues Festival at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.  This annual event will take place from October 10th through October 12th.  This event is in its 5th year and all proceeds from the event will benefit women and children needing medical care in Volusia County, Florida.  Some of the charities include Halifax Health’s Center for Women and Infant Health, Project WARM and Women Assisting Recovering Mothers at Vince Carter Sanctuary.

The festival will start promptly at 1PM EST daily and end after the last performance that goes on stage at 8:30PM EST.  One day tickets are $30.00 and a three day ticket is $75.00.  Children under 14 are admitted free per paying adult, one free child per paying adult.  Student tickets are $15.00 per day with a valid student ID.

The 2014 show schedule includes performances by the Jeff Jensen Band, Ghost Town Blues Band, SOHO (Southern Hospitality), Jimmy Thackery, Bobby Rush, The Suitcase Brothers, Victor Wainwright & The WildRoots and many more.

In addition to the three day music festival guests can register for Victor Wainwrights 2014 Blues Music Workshops.  Admission to the workshops is free for festival attendees who purchased their ticket online.  The workshops run on Wednesday October 8th and Thursday October 9th.
