Follow on Google News | Students Encouraged to Think Clean for Fall 2014Elk Grove Students Invited to Submit Water Conservation Ideas for a Chance to Win Cash Prizes
By: Bolt PR “The timing for this contest is crucial with the current state of California and the drought we are experiencing,” Beutler Air Conditioning & Plumbing and EGUSD Think Clean contest invites all students from grades six through 12 to participate. Three winners will be selected from each category (middle and high school) and rewarded with cash prizes; the first place winners will receive $250, the second place winners $150 and the third place winners $100. In addition, Beutler will donate $100 to each of the winning students’ schools. Submissions for the Think Clean contest will be accepted Sept. 23 through Oct. 28, 2014. All entries must include a thorough explanation of the idea, the potential impact of the idea on the economy and/or community and how the idea can be implemented throughout their community.
