PUEBLO, Colo. - Sept. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- A recent study by the document management software company AccuSystems indicates that a majority of bankers understand the benefits of document capture technology; however, only a small majority actually rely on electronic capture. Many institutions surveyed cite scanning, organizing documents, finding files, and integration as major issues relating to existing processes.

Surveying 119 community banks with combined assets of over $40 billion, the study found that 34% of respondents do not currently use any type of electronic capture.

With regard to electronic capture, 55% prefer a centralized system, which involves imaging documents as they arrive.

“The study indicates there is still a lot of room for growth,” says Alan Wooldridge, Co-President of AccuSystems, LLC. “Each day, we encounter new clients who are looking to get more from technology. Financial institutions can become more efficient by implementing a more comprehensive system, as AccuAccount offers.”
