Follow on Google News | Max A Pooch brings his recycling ways to 'Howling In The Park'Max A Pooch the recycled (rescue) dog who recycles will perform at Loudon, TN Humane Society's annual 'Howling In The Park' at Lenoir City Park on October 18th.
By: Max A Pooch, Inc. According to Dee Hupp, Auxiliary Member of the Loudon County Humane Society, 'Howling In The Park” is fun for kids of all ages-even your “fur kids”. The purpose of the event is to educate the community on the importance of spay, neuter, and adoption while providing everyone who attends a good time, and to raise money to support our on-going programs that benefit the animal orphans of Loudon County" This year's 'Howling In The Park will be between 11 AM and 3 PM on Saturday Oct 18. "We invited Max A Pooch to perform," says Hupp, "Because we believe his message is an important one. The country is awash in plastic bottles and other litter, and more than 5000 discarded dogs are put down a day in the US. Max A Pooch proves picking up litter is so easy even a dog can do it, while at the same time demonstrating what great companions shelter dogs can make. That is certainly a message the Loudon County Humane Society wants to make sure everyone hears!" Admission to 'Howling In The Park is free, but donations are always welcome. The event includes various Doggie Competition Contests and a Doggie/Child Costume Parade. Dogs are welcome to the event along with their humans. However, all canines must be leashed and under control. They must also have their current vaccine and rabies tag on them. Owners must clean up after the pets, disposal bags will be available. In addition, there will be refreshments, door prizes, kids games, activities, contest prizes and ongoing entertainment that includes special guest, Max A Pooch.
