Denver Non-profits to Benefit from Sloane’s Carpet Secret Facebook Contest

DENVER - Sept. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Denver discount carpet (http://www.sloanescarpetsecret.com) retailer Sloane’s Carpet Secret will provide a selected Colorado non-profit organization with free carpet, pad and installation as part of a Facebook contest running Monday, September 29, 2014, through Monday, October 27, 2014.

“Just tell us why your favorite non-profit organization needs new carpet,” said Sloane’s Carpet Secret owner Scott Alban. “We’ll select a winner based on the overall quality of the story, the need and our ability to make an impact.”

The contest builds upon a similar Facebook contest Sloane’s Carpet Secret ran in winter of 2014, in which homeowners contributed stories as to why their home deserved free carpet. The winner was a relatable and humorous story contributed by a Castle Rock, Colorado, family.

To enter the contest, individuals must “like” Sloane’s Carpet Secret on Facebook and tell a story. Alban advised criteria for the winner will include humor and creativity—“a good story.” Each case will be put against Sloane’s ability to make a difference with new carpet.

“Living well for less,” said Alban, “usually means finding a way to get the same quality of life without spending unnecessarily. We see a fit between our ability to provide quality at the lowest possible price and nonprofit organizations’ need to operate as cost-efficiently as possible.”

The selected nonprofit will receive new carpet, pad and installation for a single room up to 300 square feet. The winning entry will be notified via email and announced on Sloane’s Carpet Secret Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/SloanesCarpetSecret) on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Installation is expected to be completed by or before Thanksgiving.
