New Baby Lock Top of the Line Machine Will “Fulfill Your Destiny”

Sept. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Through innovative machines, software and accessories, Baby Lock has long supported the inherent love of sewing its customers feel with every project. With the new, top of the line Destiny sewing and embroidery machine, Baby Lock will continue the trend.

The new Baby Lock Destiny has over 100 advancements to make it the most technologically advanced machine in Baby Lock history. Even a first look at the machine impresses with the tablet-sized touch screen. It measures 10.1” diagonally and has larger buttons and bolder images. This high-definition screen can display over 16 million colors so every image is crisper and details are easier to see.

For embroiderers looking to create their own designs, the Destiny has the IQ Designer. Embroiderers can draw their own designs on screen, scan in line art, or upload their favorite artwork and watch as the IQ Designer instantly digitizes the designs. Additionally, quilters can use the auto-stippling feature within the IQ Designer for accurate in-the-hoop stippling. They can choose exactly where the stitches will go.

Baby Lock IQ Technology powers the IQ Designer and other smart, easy to use features. With IQ Technology powered features, users tell the Destiny what they want through a simple touch of the screen, and the Destiny makes the calculations to determine the correct outcome. Four other features powered by IQ Technology are for positioning embroidery designs. Destiny users can choose to position their embroidery designs however is best for their project.

Embroidery Placement Options:

1. Needle Beam:
See exactly where the needle will drop to make the first stitch.

2. Sensor Pen: A more hands-on approach. Touch the pen to the project and the Destiny will know where to stitch the design.

3. NeedleCam Digital Camera & Precise Touch Positioning: Scan the fabric and see it on screen. Then move the design to the correct spot.

4. Positioning Stickers: Ideal for smaller designs or corners of projects. Place the sticker and the machine will know where to put the design.

Embroiderers interested in larger designs and projects will appreciate the extra-large embroidery field—9.5” x 14”. A sizable embroidery field allows users to avoid multiple hoopings and design splitting. This results in more accurate stitch outs. To take advantage of this bigger embroidery field, users can choose from the Destiny’s 641 built-in embroidery designs or import or draw their own. Then, using the on-screen editing, designs can be resized up to 200% or down to 60% of the original design size.

Though the Destiny has many advanced embroidery features, it has impressive sewing features, too. With 770 built-in stitches, sewers will have a stitch for all types of project. When sewing through multiple layers or difficult fabric the Digital Dual-Feed System will keep everything feeding evenly to ensure perfect stitching. The Destiny also has an impressive 11.25” to the right of the needle to accommodate larger projects such as full size quilts.

For sewing enthusiasts interested in video tutorials, the Destiny also has video/audio capabilities. Users can upload their favorite videos and follow along with projects or take classes taught by Baby Lock experts to learn the ins and outs of their machine.

Additionally, when a sewer goes to purchase a Baby Lock Destiny, they have the option to add the Love of Sewing Membership. This membership provides four years of peace of mind sewing and is available exclusively for Destiny owners. It includes four years of unlimited access to the Love of Knowledge Center. The Love of Knowledge Center houses hundreds of video tutorials for users to learn new techniques and better understand their machine. These videos can be accessed 24/7 by Love of Sewing Membership holders. The Love of Sewing Membership also includes four years of comprehensive service and support for the Destiny machine as well as special product offers.
