triOS College Receives the Oshawa Chamber 2014 Business Excellence Award for Innovation

OSHAWA, Ontario - Sept. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- triOS College has been awarded the Oshawa Chamber’s Business Excellence Award for Innovation in 2014.  triOS took home the award due to their background, history and current achievements as a successful business in Oshawa.  The Chamber    chose the college because of their contribution to employment, excellence in employee relations, technological achievement, involvement in the community, and their distinction in customer service.

Over the past few years, the Oshawa Chamber of Commerce has been recognizing companies that have implemented outstanding business practices and created value for Durham residents in innovative ways.  Applications are reviewed by a judging panel that evaluates how companies address various business challenges, including new technologies, brand management, leadership, leveraging and developing core competencies, designing information systems, and hiring the right talent.

Spanning across Ontario, triOS has been able to outperform their competitors.  They do this with curriculum concentration, achieving sustainable growth, and finding employment for their graduates through effective Career Services initiatives.  Each campus’ Career Services team are members of their local Boards of Trade or Chambers of Commerce.  This helps the Career Services team to network with local businesses to help find internship placements or employment for triOS graduates.
