Author Brad Parks to appear at the C3 Convention

Shamus award winning author to appear in Hunt Valley, Maryland

DOVER, Del. - Sept. 22, 2014 - PRLog -- Brad Parks is the only author to win the Shamus, Nero and Lefty Awards for his novels. His breakout novel was Faces of the Gone which garnered two of the awards.

He will appear with CJ Ellisson, John Gilstrap and Rebecca York in Hunt Valley, Maryland on October 10-12, 2-14 near Baltimore.

While on assignment for The Star-Ledger in 2004, Brad covered a quadruple homicide in Newark that provided the real-life launching point for Carter Ross, a fictional character who bears no resemblance to Brad beyond their shared height, weight, eye color, hair color, skin color, charmed upbringing, sartorial blandness and general worldview.

While at the conference, Brad will give a master class on writing and will be interviewed at the lunch on Saturday afternoon.

If you want to see this dynamic author, you need to register today.  The cost to attend this conference on Saturday will be $130 and you will receive breakfast, lunch and dinner. The full conference is $275 however, if you belong to a writer's association you will receive a discount.

If you can sneak past his four interns, you may get to snap a photo with him.

We hope to see you there.
