New batch greeted with good wishes at Greater Noida Institute Of Technology

GREATER NOIDA, India - Sept. 19, 2014 - PRLog -- Greater Noida Institute of Technology (GNIOT) organized a big bash fresher party ‘Abhinandan 2014’ to welcome its new students. The fun-filled event was presided by B L Gupta- Chairman and Dr. Savita Mohan- Director. The event started with lamp lighting following Saraswati Vandna. Everyone showered their blessing and greeted the new students with all good wishes. New comers, along with their seniors, actively participated in the event.

Addressing the new students, Chairman- B L Gupta said that there is no substitute for hard work and it is the only key to success, but in today’s era of advancement and competition, one should consider smart work over hard work. Students need to put their best shot for enhancing their knowledge and capabilities. Talking about placement he said industry also need good professionals, that’s why by understanding the industrial demands we provide quality education which suits them and provides best placement opportunities to our students. He also said there is no formula of getting success, one’s values desire and determination can only be the deciding factors.

Dr. Savita Mohan said that the college will try to provide the best facilities for industry exposure and personality development. She also advised students to put in their best efforts to achieve their goals. She also introduced students to the college and its culture which includes digitization in education, innovative strategies to help the students in raising their levels from students to industry professionals, practical exposure through projects arts is one of them.

The event included variety of cultural programs like solo singing, solo dance, group song, group dance, games and plays. The fun moments started with the entertaining Group dance by MBA 1^st year students. Solo song by Danish, Yashika and Sachin filled the environment with pleasant vibes. Remarkable duet performances by Pulkit-Shruti and Neha-Rizwan filled the new energy in the audience. Bhangra Performance by 2^nd year students stole the show. All were tapping their toes on Dhol Beat along with performers. Everyone encouraged students and their talent. Faculty members and seniors shared their experiences and students also expressed their feeling about their new college. The whole event was innovatively designed. Mr. and Ms. Fresher Competition was the center of attraction. The eventful day was ended with thanks giving note by the Dr. Savita Mohan.
