Fashion Designer India Vazquez Presented Her Latrodectus at New York Fashion Week

NEW YORK - Sept. 16, 2014 - PRLog -- Wednesday Night September 10, Fashion Designer and Business Owner India Vazquez will be presented her custom designed, over the top, blinged out Latrodectus collection. The show was at Stitch Bar and Lounge in New York.

Latrodectus is a custom made line of evening wear.  Everything from hand embellished cocktail dresses to exquisite evening gowns to gorgeous blouses and jackets.. Latrodectus has always been India’s dream to bring together clothing that offers something for everyone.  From beachwear to eveningwear Latrodectus is a brand for all.  Her runway presentation reflected this too.  She had models from all backgrounds and walks of life.  Dr. Danielle Sheypuck, a pioneer for models with disabilities was featured in the show.  Along with Pop Star Carrie Lane, Actor Edvin Ortega, Writer and Business Woman Leah Hunter, Young Actor Liam O’Connor, Entertainer Ty Alexander and Doggie Moms Star Grace Forster.

As a child, India Vazquez Aunt Maria Miranda would sit next to her as she sewed and embellished pillows dresses that she later sold. Capturing India’s interest she continued the art, and studied pattern making at Fashion Institute of Technology. Later on, leading her to opening her own company.
